Spotting after sex at 6 weeks

Hi ladies.

I had since pinkish CM when I wipe... No
cramps or pains or any changes in my symptoms (including really bad nausea). I also did a HCG test still which was super strong.

It panicked me but seems to have stopped now with just a residual streak once.

We did have sex a few hours before it happened. Could it be that?

I'm having a private scan on Monday when I'll be 7 weeks... Not sure if I be should wait for that or contact my GP. Would they just tell me to wait and see anyway?

Had anyone else had this?

@L1ttleb1t I had 4-5 days of spotting at 6 weeks too. We had being having sex in the days previous so I immediately stopped having sex as a precaution. I never had pain either and it stopped so all was ok. My midwife said implantation can happen at 6 weeks but I do know I have cervical erosion from a smear I had in March and from general spotting I would get each cycle in the run up to AF, so I suspect mines was down to irritation of the cervix/hormones. Try not to panic as it's quite common in early pregnancy and even less of a worry when the bleeding isn't heavy and it's without pain. I'm 10 weeks now and all is fine so far.

It's very common thanks to increased blood flow to the cervix. More likely than not to be fine.
I had it at 14wk and it terrified me as baby follows mc's, I didn't let dh touch me again until the weekend just gone (over 28wk). Thankfully no spotting at all so all good going forward, though dh is now away until mid July.

I also had small pink streak at about 5 ish weeks. I had a scan at 6 weeks and saw the heart beat. They said it was probably just implantation around the 5-6 week mark xx

Just an update . My GP has arranged a scan at EPU on Monday morning... slightly scary but hopefully I will get answers or at least some answers and some more waiting ... I'll be 7 weeks exactly so fingers crossed there is a heartbeat.

Hope the scan went well. I had an early scan at 8 weeks where everything was fine and then had spotting for a couple of days after sex at about 9 weeks. But all was still OK and everything progressed normally. Midwife told me it is quite common but it was sometime before DH was allowed near me again! Xx

Hi guys. Had my scan today and everything was fine 😀 no obvious reason for the bleeding so they think it was probably a sensitive cervix. Baby measured exactly right and had a heartbeat. I'm relieved. They've discharged me but said to go back if I start more bleeding heavily.
