40 weeks + 5, sudden back pain, sign of labour?

I am 40 weeks + 5 today and I have been experiencing back pain.

I have scoliosis so I am used to back pain and it feels like previous times where I have “pulled” my back..:hurts more when moving, certain positions etc.

I wondered if this could be a sign of labour or if I have just pulled my back (bad timing!)

I know back ache and pain is a labour sign but unsure of what to what extent? Would it be similar to a pulled back and get worse with movement etc?

Any advice would be great. I am very much hoping it is but think I might be getting my hopes up!

Thank you in advance Smile

I laboured solely in my back. I had no pain in my tummy so it very well could be labour kicking in! Mine started off like a slight niggle and got progressively worse. It got to a point where I couldn't lay down or sit in certain positions.
