Only 17 weeks but not felt movement for a few days?

Hi 😊 I started feeling my baby move about 1-2 weeks ago, not very frequently but I'd say at least once a day, especially if I poke him/her. The last 3 days or so I've felt nothing though, even after poking my belly 😟 should I get it checked out? Or am I too early on to sorry about this?

Don't worry, you're much too early, and everything's probably fine. Just now your baby is tiny and can easily tuck away in a place you can't feel it so well. IIRC it's around the start of the third trimester you have to start being aware of reduced movement (very roughly - don't quote me on this). Ask your midwife at your next scheduled appointment/phone call :)

Yes you may be too early but I would phone the midwife for advice.

You can ring them but they are unlikely to see you for reduced movement before 24 weeks.

Baby is still very small and can easily get in to positions where you feel little to nothing.

You can contact the midwife but she will tell you that it’s too early to worry and as you said, the baby is too small to feel regularly! I know I certainly didn’t feel my baby very much in those early weeks of movement! Definitely not every day
