Cramping and spotting

I found out exactly a week ago that I was pregnant with a surprise baby. I'm away on a holiday to butlins atm and this afternoon I had some horrible cramping. Then a tiny bit of red blood (it was on the tissue when I wiped) I'm not cramping now and there is hardly any blood. But I'm terrified I'm loosing my beansprout. I have an early scan booked for Tuesday but I'm convinced they are going to say there is nothing there. My partner wasn't overly happy about me being pregnant but seems to have today come round to the idea so I'm feeling like this is a right kick in the teeth. Anyone had similar and it's been OK? The blood was like a purpley redish colour. And I've done swimming and lots of walking today and also had sex a couple hours before spotting

I can't offer any solace, but I am in a similar position. I'm almost six weeks, and since yesterday I have had cramping and brown spotting. The tests are still coming up with a strong line, but I am so scared that I am miscarrying. Everything is shut as it's the weekend, but I am going to email the gynaecologist tonight so, hopefully, they get the email tomorrow morning.

From what I have read, this could be fine but it also might not be. I wish there was just a sure-fire way of knowing.

Mt bloody is pale pink. There's hardly any. I'm just so sad and lost and trying to plaster a fake smile on as I'm on holiday with 21 other people this weekend. I had a scan booked for Tuesday anyway. But now terrified of that. Fingers crossed for both of us.

Let me know how you get on.

You've probably just irritated your cervix from having sex and nothing to worry about.

I had spotting at 4 weeks, 5 weeks and then 8 weeks - all just for the tiniest bit and only when wiping really. I am an ivf pregnant so it's coming there too.

The scan will reassure you but I think you'll be okay :) sending you lots of positive vibes

Unfortunately it's not been good news for me. Turns out baby was ectopic. Was rushed into surgery yesterday with a ruptured right tube. They have taken tube out along with ectopic pregnancy. I'm devastated.

@Mummabear1987 I am so sorry to hear that. I'm so, so sorry for your loss, and about the surgery. That's awful. Sending all my good thoughts and wishes your way. xxx
