Please could I have some lists of everything I may need to buy whilst pregnant ready for baby to arrive?
I've checked websites, NHS etc, but I just wanted views of others too, as I'm sure there were some things you needed that aren't on lists and vice versa.
Thanks!!

Somewhere for baby to sleep safely.
Some newborn sized clothes not 0-3
A hand breast pump and bottle in case you need to pump.
Nappies and wipes
Food in your fridge and freezer!!
Bottle for water cause if you plan on BF it is thirsty work!

Hi OP! Congratulations on your pregnancy
This sums up our list but obviously not all necessary
Car seat and buggy - ours had carry cot too as they say baby shouldn’t be in car seat for more than two hours without a break
Sling - baby hated being worn when little. I’d recommend you look into a sling library and see if you have one close and have the number on hand if you want to try sling when baby arrives
Moses basket and next to me crib. Moses basket was for early weeks and I’d carry it downstairs to sleep in the day. Glad we had it as the next to me is big and they were snugger in the basket
Some pre made formula just in case breast feeding didn’t work out at 2am and I was at my wits end
We didn’t buy newborn clothes went straight for 0-3 as both my husband and I are tall and baby was measuring big. We also got gender neutral vests and onesies as most friends and relatives who buy gifts tend to buy the gender specific items as outfits. Also will be good if you have more kids in the future
I had a dummy put away again just in case
Changing mat - I was lazy and had one upstairs and one downstairs
Don’t bother with the pampers naked mat things to catch wee just buy puppy pads or use a towel. Way cheaper. IKEA do covers for changing mats too
Nappies and wipes
Breast pads - I had disposable ones but am getting some bamboo ones this time round
Nipple cream and nappy cream.
Disposable knickers and maternity pads. Or the pants for incontinence then you can just Chuck them. Basically adult nappies
If you’re due soon maybe a sun protector for buggy. The sun umbrellas are a faff
A few breast feeding friendly tops that unclip handy for the early days tho I think I spend mine pretty much topless
Think that’s most of the obvious stuff for early days. If you’re near a 24 hour supermarket things like the milk are redundant if you’ve a friend or partner who can nip out for you. Amazon prime too will get most things to you next day so if you don’t have everything I wouldn’t worry

Good luck xxx
