Second sweep, send luck and advice lol

41 +1 today had second sweep about an hour ago midwife said I'm still about 2cm dilated and cervix is still slightly posterior but that baby is much lower than last time with a bishop score of 6, just got home from a walk and currently sat on my exercise ball, I've lost my plug a couple days ago so im uncomfortable having sex but any tips or tricks to help would be appreciated! Me and the partner are moving house in a week so really need baby to get a move on lol, TIA

Honestly id go for a nap. Rest is important, also sods law as you doze off contractions will start

Honestly, sex is what got me going after my 2nd sweep, contractions started a few hours after 😆 can you have a hot curry? 😋

I literally went to bed the night of my sweep with dc, half asleep and contractions started. My honest thought was "noooo, sleep first!"

I'm going to have my nap now and I never thought I'd hope so much that I wake up in pain 😂 wish me luck 🤞

Nothing yet, I thinking little one is too comfy, feels like it's going to be forever until we meet Haha likely wont make his arrival until me and his dad are in the middle of moving next week 😂😭

Some research says your more likely to go into labour at night due to being more relaxed etc

Nope nothing yet 😭 struggled to sleep and have been for a long walk this morning, has some very mild back ache and cramp this morning but nothing since, I'm starting to accept I might just be pregnant forever 😂

@Chara6 Aww noooo, sorry to hear! Hopefully things get moving for you soon! 🤞 have you tried some nipple stimulation? That's supposed to be good, but you gotta do it 10-15 mins at a time throughout the day. X

I think with the pineapple you might need to eat the core
