Hi! I found out I was pregnant nearly a week ago and wondering if anyone around the same due date (15th Jan 2022) would want to keep each other updated on symptoms etcSmile this is my first and I'm so excited!

Hi,
I’m six weeks on Monday due on the 17th jan I think 😂
First time for me to! How are you feeling?

EvelinaK · 22/05/2021 11:51

Mine is 15th Jan too☺️ ( my mother's bday- she is excited! )
My breasts don't feel tender today, and had this ovulation like pain on the left side this morning. Some twinges and pulling down below that come and go, feeling nauseous after eating but mostly in the afternoon and haven't got much appetite atm. Eating just because I should🙈

Snoopy28x · 22/05/2021 14:08

Hi all, I'm about 6 weeks to as confirmed on a scan but not sure on actual dates but around 12th-13th jan I think.

This is my very surprise number 3 Grin would be nice to go on this journey with others xx

Dolly0706 · 22/05/2021 17:20

Hey, I’m 6 weeks on Thursday! A little nervous about it being so early. What are everyone’s symptoms so far?

LilmissCa · 22/05/2021 19:34

Congrats all.. I'm 6w2d
There's a few Jan baby threads here but I'm happy to join another!

Symptoms wise. Sickness hit yday pretty bad, lemon water, sprite & all things salt & vinegar is keeping me going today! Boobs have been unbelievable sore the last week & half.. Been in a sports bra already!!

ijustgiveup · 22/05/2021 21:57

I think I'm 6 weeks but I'm unsure. I'm still waiting on a call from the midwife to get me signed up, a week after calling.
I'm feeling pretty anxious

ijustgiveup · 22/05/2021 22:02

I'm getting some pulling feelings in my uterus and I can feel my heart beating in my chest. Anyone else?
It's been 15 years since my last pregnancy and I cannot for the life of me remember the symptoms

Snoopy28x · 22/05/2021 22:22

Congrats all! Super exciting for all you first time mummies!!

Pregnancy is such a nervous time, you never stop worrying about these little people lol

My symptoms are super sensitive boobs, vivid dreams, thirsty and weeing constantly, I get so bloated by the evening to. And the extreme tiredness that hits around 2pm!!! I've got a 4yo dd and nearly 2 yo ds... which makes things even more exhausting!

EvelinaK · 23/05/2021 10:57

Snoopy28xx
Ooh I can relate, thirsty than peeing like a puppy, ohh and the dreams! Nausea, burping etc but hey ho it's part of it I guess😆

Ijsutgiveup yes, I get lots of pulling/ twinges feels strange right? But some days nothing☺️

Snoopy28x · 23/05/2021 11:22

Evelinak haha yeah the joys! Super sonic sense of smell?! I had to relocate our bin to the garden the other day because I couldnt bear being in the same room as it! No one else seemed to notice any offensive smells lol

I keep waking up in the night to wee then cant get back to sleep! Then the kids wake me up at 6am Confused

EvelinaK · 23/05/2021 12:00

I have a food aversions, some smells not good great either, but bin is still on the same spot for now lol.
Oh I was the same couple weeks ago, but now I feel so tired I sleep like a log and as it is my 1st one, only the screaming birds outside are waking me up currently 😅

bethabean · 23/05/2021 19:44

Hi all! Didn't see that anyone had replied until now but really nice to have people to chat toSmile congratulations everyone! My biggest symptom is that I can't stop weeing and I'm exhausted most the time. No sickness yet and hoping it stays that way. Hope everyone's had a lovely day xx

EvelinaK · 24/05/2021 09:30

Dreams are so real🙈 My symptoms seems to come and go now, I felt pretty nauseous on Sat and felt okish yesterday. Feeling slightly dizzy this morning, but so far so good☺️

bailey1802 · 24/05/2021 17:07

Congrats all! I'm 6 weeks now so due around 20th Jan I think, not confirmed yet!

I have pretty much the same symptoms as @EvelinaK .. I have had bad nausea from about 4 weeks(!!) and struggling to find any foods, even my favs, appealing 🤢

Also fatigued and very sore boobs.

So anxious about first appointment as I hear so many negative stories about problems being found but staying positive, all I can do 🤞🏼 x

EvelinaK · 24/05/2021 17:30

Yes keep positive @bailey1802 it works😉
Have craved mashed potato yesterday so got cooking real quick just in case lol.
I assume the symptoms will come and go for some so the key is not let our mind playing trick on us! 😊

Confused678866 · 24/05/2021 21:04

Hey! I was 6 weeks on Saturday (going from LMP). This will (hopefully) be my second baby, have a 2 year old son.
Private scan booked 2 weeks tomorrow when I'll be roughly 8+3, currently wishing the days away!
Symptoms haven't been too bad: sore nipples/tender boobs, sometimes feeling sick but haven't been sick, going off a few foods, tired and rubbish skin! My skin in the first trimester of my last pregnancy was just like this... I swear I have a spot upon a spot on my chin 🥴 there's a nice image for you all 🤭😂 xx

Snoopy28x · 25/05/2021 08:24

Congratulations all! Nice to go on this journey with you all 😃

Confused678866 - I have a 2 year old son also. Mine does not stop 😂 which makes life even more exhausting!! Hes also only just started sleeping through the night.

I have red spots both sides of my nose! I never gets spots so I'm putting this down to a pregnancy symptom! Boobs arent quite as sore now but still very sensitive. The tiredness is what's getting me. I just cannot get anything done!!

Confused678866 · 25/05/2021 10:20

@Snoopy28x Sounds just like my little boy! He's wild from the time he wakes up until the time he goes to bed... he's only just started to sleep through but his usual wake up time of 5-5:30am has stuck with him and it's exhausting 🥱

Snoopy28x · 25/05/2021 11:01

@Confused678866 oh I hear you!!! My daughter is 4, she always slept amazing. Still does sleep 12 hours. She is full on in a doesnt stop talking from morning till bed lol but boys.. omg.. he climbs everything! They have so much energy, he takes an age to settle at night to. He has reflux and allergies which I think contributes to his sleeping issues, I'm glad we seem to have turned a corner. So I might get a little sleep before this one comes along 🤪

My daughter is an early rider usually 6am, my little boy would happily stay asleep until 8.30!

Confused678866 · 25/05/2021 11:36

@Snoopy28x Haha oh wow, let's hope you manage to get some sleep before the next one arrives then!
I have no experience with girls at all but my boy is just wild and he doesn't shut up.. it's all I ever hear from people about how he doesn't stop, never sits still, never seems tired 😳😂
Even before he was sleeping through, he'd still wake at 5am even though he'd had a terrible nights sleep! I guess I should be grateful that he's no longer waking through the night and I just have the early get ups to deal with 😂
They're worth it though aren't they ☺️

Snoopy28x · 25/05/2021 13:24

They really are Smile we weren't planning on having anymore, so this baby was a total shock! Ik turning 40 in july. My last was 10lb 3oz.. they predicted 8lbs Confused.. I suffered badly with SPD from fairly early on. So I am dreading these parts and hope they monitor the size this time!!

Girls are very different! its lovely when they actually play together, snuggle up for cuddles together etc, makes it all worth it x

Confused678866 · 25/05/2021 19:24

@Snoopy28x Ahh what a lovely surprise though! 10lbs 3oz 👀😳 wow!!
My little boy was 7lbs 8oz and that was after being 11 days late too. A 3 day failed induction followed by an emergency c section! He definitely kept me waiting.
I'm sure they will monitor you this time around, especially with how big your last baby was!

Ahh how lovely 🥰 xx

Snoopy28x · 26/05/2021 06:47

@Confused678866 wow sounds like a long old process for you!

I had a quick labour but then that scares me haha my daughter I had a water birth and was so calm, lovely, within 3 hours of arriving at the hospital she was born, no pain relief.

2nd time round went into labour 3pm.. contractions ramped up so fast, in the hospital at 7pm they made me wait in reception for an hour. Waters broke walking to the room. They shoved me in what I can only describe as a closet with a bath in... 2mins later I was pushing.. his heart rate kept dipping so I got out and he then made an appearance with his hand against his face!!! So back in he went.. was all very traumatic. No pain relief.

So the thought of giving birth again is a little scary lol I don't know what to expect! 😳 my daughter was 7lbs 11oz. So there was no signs he would be so big.

Confused678866 · 26/05/2021 07:06

@Snoopy28x Yeah it was a long drawn out process, I was just glad I hadn't got a birth plan to be honest as that would have been well and truly out of the window!
Oh wow, both so quick really! It amazes me when babies are born so quickly... I had 3 days of induction and didn't even dilate! 🙈😂 my body just refused to do it.. I always had a feeling I'd end in a section though and I have a feeling the same would happen next time. Inductions are absolutely horrendous too.

It's crazy how he was so much bigger than your daughter, did you go overdue?
They do say as well that labours get faster each time 🙈 x
