Anyone 6 weeks too?!

Hi! I found out I was pregnant nearly a week ago and wondering if anyone around the same due date (15th Jan 2022) would want to keep each other updated on symptoms etc this is my first and I'm so excited!

@bethabean and @Confused678866 thank you ladies. Dh has got the kids at home so my sister has come for moral support. Bless her she had to be swabbed. But that's ok. Just waiting in the car for my app. Not sure if I need a full bladder for the scan so I have but desperate for a wee. Just had a bit of spotting since yesterday. I guess time will tell what's going on xxx

@bethabean and @Confused678866 well girls.. not good news. They said they couldnt find the fetal pole. Just empty sac. She said that it must have stopped growing after 6 weeks..

I'm doing ok. As soon as I started spotting I could feel something wasnt right. She said the sac is empty so my body has absorbed it back now is the worst part. Waiting for it all to pass. They said my body doesnt realise so it's still producing the hormones. I could tell is wasnt good when she tried the external scan and said its smaller than expected so needed to do an internal one.

@Confused678866 thank you xx I feel like I'd done my crying and I was prepared for bad news before my scan. My dh doesn't get to attached before we have the 12 week scan. He got really hurt after the 1st mc, it made him really down. So I think he protects himself that way.

I am doing ok though, I am just grateful to have my 2 babies. I know how hard it can be for some people to just have 1. So I know how lucky I am. I can throw myself all in to them.

I'd love to still keep in touch and hear how your doing, it's been nice going through this with you (not this part!).

Yes, go and enjoy your 2 beautiful children, they're very lucky to have you! I really hope you're okay.

@Confused678866 I think that this weekend came at the right time. Otherwise I'd be home moping.. it's good to get away and keep busy and make me appreciate what I've got.

We had an eventful first night. We were sat watching football. I gave ds some ibroprofen because he still isnt 100%. Handed him to dh.. and he then projectile vomited all over him.. 5 times. At which point dd was gagging watching. I was trying to tell her if she looked the other way she would be fine.. then dh is now covered in sick.. we decided to call it a day at this point and go back to the apartment lol ds seems alot brighter today so hopefully we can do some fun stuff. Xx

@Confused678866 kids are funny but also very unpredictable!!! Lol poor ds still isnt 100% so been grizzly. Hes not that interested in food. Hoping today he perks up and eats a bit more. The weather was beautiful yesterday so we spent the morning at the holiday park, painted some pottery, then walked down to the beach and spent the day there. Everyone was overly tired and grumpy last night including mummy. So we came back and had some chill out time in our apartment.

How are you doing? Any news on the house? Did you get your scan date through x

I'm okay thank you. Erm, we'll it doesn't look like we're moving on Friday (day before we go on holiday) which is a relief really, hoping it's the week we come back 🤞🏻
Yes my scan is booked for 6th July so just after holiday. Have another private one booked for Friday xx

@Confused678866 haha yes mine has started terrible 2s.. we went shopping today and he was either crying, sitting refusing to walk or wanting to go on Dh shoulders. Then as soon as he saw something interesting he wanted to get down and if we didnt get him down he then had another tantrum.. weve had a few late nights and very busy days so I think they were both shattered. Both in bed by 6pm tonight!

Ooh well that's good news, a nice thing to look forward to after your holiday. Xx

@Snoopy28x Haha it's hard work shopping isn't it! Everything takes so much longer.
My little one was up last night from 00:45 until about 3:30 😑 I was tired this morning. He was just wide awake, couldn't work out what was going on! Hoping he sleeps better tonight.

@Confused678866 well they do go through another sleep regression at around 2 years... 😬 I'm hoping mine forgets to do that lol

Feeling so overly emotional today. I'm not one for crying but I cried 3 times today over nothing! Just burst into tears! I'm hoping my hormones level out again soon. Poor Dh doesnt know what to do with me. Although he did clean the house for me today so I can chill tomorrow when dd is at pre school. Ds usually has a decent nap! Xx

@Snoopy28x Haha my child hasn't skipped one of them unfortunately 👀😂

@Confused678866 mine was on one long sleep regression from birth until 2months ago...!! Horrendous reflux and allergies do not make for a well rested baby.

Yes it was perfect. The best timing to, well needed. We went to loads of shows on the resort, went to the beach, the fair, arcades. We went bowling to and ds won... I think me and dh need to take a good long hard look at our bowling skills..! The kids had a fab time to. They were totally shattered by yesterday. Back to reality tomorrow pre school and work for Dh.

I've just signed up for an evening course in sept. I did level 2 bookkeeping beginning of this year. Now going to do the level 3 accounting one. So I'm super excited to get stuck in with that now.

@Snoopy28x Oh no that sounds awful!! Mine didn't suffer from anything like that, he was just a very rubbish sleeper, no matter what we tried!

Oh that just sounds fab, definitely what you needed. It sounds like a lovely little break!
