Anyone 6 weeks too?!

Hi! I found out I was pregnant nearly a week ago and wondering if anyone around the same due date (15th Jan 2022) would want to keep each other updated on symptoms etc this is my first and I'm so excited!

@Snoopy28x Hey! I'm good thank you, how are you? Ahh you have been very busy! We're hopefully moving on Friday so I've been packing and sorting stuff etc but feeling very overwhelmed with it all.. it's different to try and 'take it easy' as everyone says to me.. when we have all of this going on!
Any plans this weekend? Xx

@Confused678866 yeah I can understand why your feeling overwhelmed! Just try and take more of a supervisory role lol have you got people moving the stuff for you or are you doing it?

Yeah all good here. My sister got the kids an amazing pool yesterday! We dont have a big garden but managed to find a space for it. The kids were playing in it all day. Was so fun!! Dh has gone out on his friends boat for the night, so won't be back until this afternoon. So playing in the garden is in order. Its gonna be a hot one today I think!! X

@Snoopy28x Yeah I'm helping with packing and phone calls to arrange things etc but I'm not lifting stuff and moving stuff around.
We're doing it ourselves. Should have a bit of help from family hopefully but depends on their work situations etc. Partner has a van, we've hired a big van too and then we have our car.. I think we'll get it all in, we'll I hope anyway 😣🙈

Ahh that sounds fab! My little one isn't that bothered about paddling pools unfortunately.. his has burst too and we haven't replaced it. Will get another one when we move and see if he likes it.
Yes I think it's going to be really hot!! I need to carry on with packing today 😭 xx

When we moved into this house it was 35 degrees all week when we were packing. It was horrendous. So I feel your pain!! Hopefully you'll get plenty of help with the heavy moving part. The sorting you can do in your own time. Will be lovely to be in your new house for summer 😀

Dd has been really difficult this week. She is so ready for school. She just gets bored and naughty. Everything has been a battle. She is so strong willed!!! I think she was jealous that ds was getting attention as it was his birthday. So I am feeling a bit 🤪with it all lol x

@Snoopy28x Yea that sounds like what this week will be like! I'm definitely not doing any heavy lifting, it isn't worth it!
Yeah I'm looking forward to getting in there now, it's been a long time coming!

Ahh yes she does sound very ready! She will love it. She sounds like my little boy with being strong willed.
Haha oh yeah can imagine the jealousy between siblings on birthdays! 🙈😂
My little boy is finally starting to come round to the idea of a new baby but he doesn't fully understand yet xx

@Confused678866 we got her a couple of bits, like mrs potato head because he got mr potato head. And a drawing easel like his. So they could have the same and she had a few bits to open to. Might try and get out for an early walk!

Haha he will love the baby when its here! How many weeks are you now?

Oh that's a good idea. I love early walks, it's nice when there isn't many people around.

@Confused678866 we had a bit of a garden make over. We only have slabs down. So got some artificial grass for one half. Kids play house and slide. Then ds got 2 water tables for his birthday from family. And we have the mud kitchen now the pool! The kids are loving it. They are outside all day. Which is lovely. Then sleep well haha ds has decided to just get up late and drop naps!

Ooh 14 weeks. The time seems to be flying by now

@Snoopy28x Ahh sounds fab. Our current garden is quite nice but the new one will be bigger and a better shape. Hopefully not too much to do to it.. we want to create a section of it for our little one though so that will be nice.
Haha yes the heat is good for making them sleep isn't it! I wish my little one would do that but he still wakes early and then has a nap.
