unexplained itchy rash 14 weeks pregnant

hello everyone, on sunday i started itching and the next morning when i woke up i was covered in rash. i phoned the nurse and she got me to come in and get it checked but she didn’t know what it was, she also got the doctor to come in and check it but she didn’t know either. they sent me home with some cream that was meant to soothe it but didn’t really help. it’s thursday now and the rash is still there on my stomach, chest, back and a little on my arms and thighs. i’m worrying since i’m almost 15 weeks pregnant and i’m just wondering if anyone could identify the rash or if anyone has had something similar? thank you x

I developed a weird rash at 13 weeks. Initially they thought it was an allergic reaction to the cyclizine I was taking for HG, but now I’m back on it, it probably wasn’t. Final assumption was that it was a viral rash. Mine was more heavily concentrated on my arms and legs, but it was also on my stomach, chest and back like yours. It also looked quite like yours. Might be something to discuss if you can get another appointment next week? I was prescribed cetirizine and it went away fairly quickly but four weeks later I have really dry skin where the patches were. Hope you can get it sorted out - it’s so awful to be so itchy.
