So...

Had 1st Baby (AUG 2020)
Breastfed with breast pump fr 4 mnths(DEC 2020)
Got pregnant again (FEB 2021)
Currently 17 weeks pregnant...

My question is.... IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN MAKE MYSELF PRODUCE MILK BEFORE BABY IS BORN BY USING MY BREAST PUMP? I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE STASH OF FROZEN MILK READY FOR BABY NUMBER 2.

MANY THANKS

Your body will make colostrum rather than milk unless you were still breastfeeding

I think it’s ok if still feeding but I seem to remember reading something about nipple stimulation/expressing potentially bringing on premature labour if not. I may have misremembered but worth checking.

Congrats! I have definitely read about BF bringing on early labour or contractions. I would check with your midwife to be on the safe side.

I think you need to discuss with your midwife. Stimulation of the breast can bring on contractions.
Also, the nutritional makeup of the milk changes depending on the age of the baby. I would imagine that your body produces the right milk for a newborn (including the important colostrum with the right antibodies for the environment it's going to be exposed to) when it's born, not 20 weeks beforehand.
