4 Weeks, First Pregnancy

Hi everyone, this is my first Mumsnet post. I have taken several (!) tests over the last few days and I am pregnant (according to ClearBlue it's 1-2 weeks, 4 weeks 2 days going by my last period). Is anyone else in the same boat? I know it's really early and I'm sure things can go wrong but I'm just so excited.

Great to have others in the same boat! I will be 4 weeks tomorrow (going by my last period). How have you all been feeling? I get slight nausea when I wake up, and some very faint cramping.

I'm 4 weeks 1 day and the only thing Iv had is sore boobs which seemed to have eased, not feeling very hungry, and tiredness.

I keep panicking and worrying about miscarriage etc as this is the first time Iv ever been pregnant x

I'm also cramping on and off just like my period was about to start. It's rather unnerving even though everyone says that it is pretty normal.

Hi, I’ve been trying for just over a year and finally got my positive on Monday. I’m so anxious, this is my first! Does this line progression look ok from Monday - Thursday? I’m worried as clearblue still says 1-2 weeks when I’d be 5 weeks on Saturday so would expect to see 2-3? Thank you for your help

@Trinacham I got the gross end of the stick. 5wks today, so far no nausea, no cramping, no sore boobs. What did I get instead? The digestive trifecta of bloating, gas and constipation. And yes, it's shit.

@cct003 I don’t think the Clearblue weeks thing is an exact science. Try not to worry. Can’t say I will take my own advice though 😂

Ah noo! I'll be honest I have had something yucky if this makes you feel any better.. thrush! I haven't had it in years and it turned up the day after my positive! I don't think that's just a coincidence.. and it does seem to be common in pregnancy according to Google!

@Trinacham oh no! No one ever tells you this very unglamorous side of pregnancy before you get the BFP.

I'm also SUPER hungry all the time. Literally turned into a cow, just nibbling something all day (not grass thankfully 😂) DP thought I was just using the pregnancy as an excuse to eat, but then he heard my stomach GROWL this morning 😳

Another one who has lost her appetite. It’s taken such a long time to get here that I can’t quite believe it and I’m on tenterhooks waiting for something to go wrong.

How wonderful! Did you have that done privately or through the NHS? I have my first appointment on Friday when I'm 9w, but I think it's just a booking appointment.
