Unsure if pregnant

Hi I'm new to this forum , I came off the depo injection just over a year ago me n my hudband had unprotected sex ar the end of march this year I think I had my normal period in April n this months period I think has started but its only dark brown is not heavy and these 2 times have felt different like normally I would have abdominal pain for 2 days at the heaviest time in my cycle but my last 2 cycles wernt majorly heavy and experienced no abdominal pain , I've got baby brain wondering could I b or not and wondered if anyone has experienced anything similar or could the fact I'm hoping to be pregnant could my body be playing tricks on me

Hi OP, presume you've taken a pregnancy test? Was it inconclusive? If so, get another one and try again :) Only way to know whether you're pregnant or not!

Yes I took one a week ago it said negative just find it weird as my t last 2 cycles my periods were not the same no cramps which is not normal for me and bleeding has been lighter than it normally is if this cycle that started on the 14th may is short and have no heavy bleeding i will retake in a weeks time , I know its possible for some people to have some kind of period through there pregnancy so not ruling it our just yet

Wht does op mean

If you’ve already left it a week without testing I would test now rather than waiting a week.
When you say it’s not heavy, is it like spotting or would you fill a pad over time?

Well if you're not pregnant and you think your periods have changed, it might be worth seeing your GP, as other things can cause it. If you're TTC and it's some kind of hormone imbalance or similar, best to know sooner so you can get it sorted x

How old are you? I'm guessing not in your forties, but it you were it could be perimenopause.

Hi so I went to sleep on the 13th May when I woke up there was a little bit of pink blood in my pyjamas bottoms thought ok this is my period starting so I put a tampon in ,over the next few days I've barely had to change it, its dark brown on the tampon but only small amounts I put a tampon in this morning came to 3 o clock this afternoon I took it out and there was barely anything on it this time and its not normal for me to have a light dark blood period

Do u really think I should , aprils period was mostly normal apart from no cramps and this months period is weird with the addition of no cramps and lighter bleeding x could it happen to have 1 normal period n be pregnant

The depo injection completely messes with your periods and generally takes 18 months to 2 years to get out of your system completely and “normal” cycles resume.
I had my last depo injection August 2019 and am now 18 weeks pregnant, following nearly 9 months of no periods, and then general irregularity for a long time
So it may well just be your body still adjusting to the change

I was on the depo injection and it took me 2 years to conceive but everybody is different. I’m no longer on anything as it messed my periods up completely after coming off of it I didn’t have a normal period but for some strange reason became pregnant as I couldn’t track my cycle I didn’t have a clue!

So an update i took a pregnancy test sad to say I'm not pregnant , only upside is we get to have alot more fun at trying to concieve
