Finally got my "12" week scan, 15w3d. Do I need a full bladder?

Long story as to why its so late but I don't have a letter from the hospital, as was offered via telephone call so unsure if I need a full bladder or not.

its also going to be at 15w3d, so not sure if that changes things? I know you don't need to worry at 20w scan.

Yes. They usually ask you to have a full bladder for all scans in the 1st half of pregnancy which includes the anomaly scan.

I go to all scans with a full bladder if necessary they tell me to empty it. That way I'm covered Smile

Yeah, I’ve been told to go with a full bladder.

Have they explained what’ll happen around testing, if you were going to have it?

@TakeYourFinalPosition Yes, thank you. Its been a real shit old time tbh. I wanted combined screening but its too late and so I've had to accept the quadruple test instead. I'm really unhappy about my care and have put in a formal complaint.

Thanks everyone - I will guzzle lots of water tomorrow morning.
