Anyone else had long implantation bleeding??

Hey, im curious to whether im having a long implantion bleed or if my cycle is just a bit out. I started having spotting on day 22 of cycle ( i ovulated roughly 7 days before) on and off spotting light brown and pinkis mainly when wiping. Occasionally on panty liner but not much at all. I usually have a 31 day cycle. I did suffer a miscarriage 3 months ago and this is my 2nd period since so unsure if hormones are just out. I also have a strange metallic taste on mouth especially when drinking water. PLEASE CAN ANYONE SHARE ANY EXPERIENCES. Xxxx

Hi there so sorry about your miss carriage I suffered one at Christmas and it's taken over my life trying to conceive again. I have had implantation bleeding now for 8 days.... I thought it was my period as similar thing happened last month but on the 3rd day it became a proper period, but this time it didn't get heavier so I tested positive at the weekend 3 to 4 weeks pregnant , it is super light, sometimes leaves a mark on a panty liner and when I wipe and sometimes doesn't... I'm beginning to get concerned though its old blood but why is it lasting so long...

Hello thanks for your reply. So sorry to hear about your MC too its so tough to feel ok after isnt it. Its been 11 weeks since mine and im still consumed by it all. So what i thought was implantation was spotting, i had it 9 days then my period came! So i was gutted. Try not ro worry just yet( youre bound to as youve experienced a MC too) bit ive heard lots of women talk about their experience wity long implantation bleeding so fingers crossed. I know 11 weeks feels like a lifetime but your body will take time to repair and get back to normal. I know it is very frustrating as everyone says how quickly you will fall pregnant again as you are so fertile - this just wasn't true for me and i put so much pressure on myself that I had to get back to where I was.

Since December I would say i have had 3 normal periods now and on the 3rd time is when i have fallen pregnant, however I didn't ovulate for a good 20+ days after my April period, which worries me that there will be a problem again. All of these ovulation tests are great for knowing but look after yourself and don't become obsessed like i did, not making plans or letting my husband go out because it might be ovulation ect. I became so down and consumed by this all that i am now on anti depressants, which is probably a good thing to help me manage my thoughts about another miscarriage.
I have also been in touch with the charity Petals which is very helpful in terms of help with miscarriage grief. I really hope that you are kind to yourself and if it doesn't happen this month, or next it will do xx

With pregnancy 1 had no implantation bleeding, and it ended in miscarriage, With pregnancy 2 I had 1 wipe of implantation bleeding, 5 days before my period was due, healthy pregnancy. With pregnancy 3 I had about 5 days of implantation bleeding, mostly pinkish, I didn't think it was right. I had a positive test on day 2 of the implantation bleeding but miscarried at 6 weeks. Pregnancy 4, no implantation bleeding and a healthy pregnancy.
