I'm 21+6 weeks and have too have high risk appointments , I am a diabetic but it's very controlled 99% within range. I noticed at my ultrasound babies tummy AC was measuring at 24 weeks gestation. The DR carrying out my scan did mention this and wasn't really concerned but would like me too speak too a diabetic dr or consultant. Is having a higher AC ok? And if you had this how heavy were they born,

I haven’t had a high AC but a low my understanding is it’s a good sign of whether the placenta isn’t working properly (low AC) or over production with medical conditions such as GD (high AC)

A colleague had GD and had a AC off the charts I think it was always 5/6 wks ahead. Baby was close to 10lb at 38 weeks.

Major things with growth scans is that they do t change massively. If babies AC stays on the 99th they will be happy until you get closer to term.
