31 weeks and babies head is 1/5 engaged

Hey so I’m getting a little nervous!

My babies head has been pretty much fully engaged for a week now, the midwife couldn’t palpate her head and in my growth scan they couldn’t measure it as she’s so low!

I’ve been getting period type cramps everyday, I’m very uncomfortable with a lot of pressure and today noticed the ‘purple line’ on my bum has came up (definitely wasn’t there before)

Does this mean she could come sooner?
I had some light mucous type discharge yesterday with some blood

She’s been head down since 24 weeks but only just engaged this past week 🙈

This happened to anyone else?

I'm on my sixth baby though and had to google this purple line thing, never heard it before!

I think you need to ring the triage at your hospital and go up and get checked over.

I'd definetly check with your midwife if you have had cramping and bleeding, if only to put your mind at rest x

What's the purple line ? X

Some women will get the purple line or natal cleft line up there bum when they’re dilating!

I don’t know whether it’s just because she’s so far down and there’s a lot of weight that I’ve got mine though 🤷🏻‍♀️
Just hoping it doesn’t mean things are close as it’s too early 😬
