Hi I wanted to ask on other women's experiences with their babies movements / flutters at 5 months some days the baby is moving around and I am starting to get very strong flutter kicks and I have had the odd spasm like feeling of flutters going on and then I start worrying getting paranoid when I can't feel anything at all are you supposed to check flutters/ kicks at this stage of 5 months? I have my scan next week thank goodness as it will test my mind everything is ok and 9/10 I get a string flutter to remind me I'm ok mummy 👶🤭

This leaflet might be helpful:

I think at 5 months as long as you are feeling movements it’s fine. There probably won’t be a pattern to the movements yet, so don’t worry if the movements aren’t consistent.
