6 days late, CD36, BFN, what the hell is going on? Anyone here got positive tests after this many days late?

Hi all.

I’m currently 6 days late for my period. Been trying a few months (m/c in January - period back in March, normal cycle in April).

I have cramping on and off for the week - generally regular 31 day cycle so this is odd!

Lost count the amount of FRERs I’ve done - all negative!

From ovulation sticks I got peak fertility on 19th April - we had sex few days before and a day after. We haven’t had sex since.

So weird.

Anyone any advice?

Oh really? @ER20 Oh my god I hope this will be the same! Kind of worried to be honest. Doc appointment tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

When we started TTC my period just didn't turn up one month! Such cruel timing. The doctor told me infections can cause your period to be delayed and when she swabbed me I had thrush and hadn't realised.

If you last had sex on 20th April then the earliest you could be is 4.5 weeks which you'd definitely expect to see on a sensitive test like a FRER.

I hope you are pregnant but I wouldn't think it's likely after a negative test so late on x

I was 6 days late back in March when I got my positive but I've a 21 day cycle. First test was really faint as well.

I was almost 6 weeks pregnant by the time I got a positive pregnancy test :) I had had a negative tests up until then. My cycles were mostly 28 days but I was known to have the odd random longer cycle once in a while. I just assumed I must have ovulated later that time. Will be interesting to see what my dating scan says next week :)
