Hi
New to Mumsnet so no idea if I'm doing this right!
I'm 29 weeks pregnant today with my baby girl, she's growing perfectly and measuring exactly how she should be at the moment but I have spent the last 2.5 days in hospital. Community midwife sent me there as her heart rate was high. Spent all day Thursday hooked up to an ecg. They weren't happy with either of our heart rates and didn't wana let me home without doing a scan.
Had the scan and they found the fluid around her was low, blood flow to her heart and from the placenta was fine but they think it's a hind water leak. Pregnancy has been a breeze up untill now. I've been so lucky. I was really positive but last night and today I've been so emotional. I was told I won't go past 34 weeks. They haven't given me the injections because it's controversial apparently? And will do that when I go into labour. I'm just so worried about having a pre term baby and if the labour happens too quickly the injections they give me for her lungs won't have enough time to take effect and help her. Does anyone have any experiences with a hind water leak they could share with me please?
