Sore boobs gone, light spotting and cramps at 9 weeks

Hi all,

Never used mumsnet before but I’m really looking for some reassurance.
In January I miscarried at 8+5 and it was pretty obvious it was happening at the time but my body did it all on its own.
I recently discovered I’m pregnant again and while I’m so happy I’m also so anxious and being cautious analysing everything.
I’m exactly 9 weeks today and yesterday I woke up and my boobs weren’t sore anymore. I’ve not suffered from sickness or any other symptom but I called the GP for advice as we go into the weekend and she reassured me everything’s probably fine without blood. This morning I had really light brown spotting and very mild cramps that I can’t tell if I’m just imagining they’re so faint. Since then I’ve googled everything and worried I’m having another mc but it’s so different to last time. My first mw appt is on Thursday and gp said she would try see if they can get me a scan but what if they can’t!
Loss of symptoms, brown spotting and really mild cramps, has anyone had this and been ok?

@xlaurenx no advice - but could you get yourself a private scan for some reassurance?

I had this op and my 2 year old is currently sitting next to me.
I had spotting for 2 maybe 3 days, only when I wiped and it was brown.
I only had symptoms for 3 weeks which disappeared before 10 weeks.
The mild cramps may very well be your body growing.
Long as it’s not red!

Thanks for this. No it’s definitely not red.
I’ve read lots about 9/10 weeks is when the placenta takes over so I’m hoping it’s that I just don’t like the not knowing for sure.
It’s such an emotional rollercoaster I’m not sure how I would mentally cope with it again x

I didn’t know this was available, I have found a place an hour away that does this so I’m going to see if they have availability. Thank you x

Being 9 weeks you’d have a good scan if you went private. They are great whilst waiting for 12 week one for reassurance.
Everything sounds fine to meDaffodil

Strange question but did you ever feel like your stomach was empty? I had some bloating before but not today and my stomach is totally flat. When I hiccuped or sneezed I almost felt like I knew something was in my belly but I don’t have that now since yesterday. I just don’t ‘feel’ pregnant. Maybe I should change my name to overthinker!!

Your baby is teeny tiny right now.
After a loss being pregnant can cause pretty bad anxiety.
I would recommend telling your MW your anxious and she’ll add it on your notes, this helped me a lot whilst in labour.
