Hey everyone. So i had a scan on sunday and baby measured 9 weeks, strong heartbeat and eveytthing looked fine. So i started to relax but now im panicking again. All my symptoms have gone! I had heart paplatations for the past few days but they have now eased off. Sickness completley gone, breast tenderness nearly gone. Is this normal? What are the odds of a mc after heartbeat at 9 weeks? I wish i could just relax! 😭😭

It's normal! This is literally the most common question posted here (I've posted it myself twice!)

The healthy scan and heartbeat are great signs. Symptoms do come and go and sometimes they do all abruptly stop overnight - I've had it in two pregnancies. Unless you're bleeding I would consider things all good (although in my first pregnancy I did actually have bleeding and lost all my symptoms and everything was fine) x

Im probably over panicking and googling way to much 🤦‍♀️

My symptoms completely disappeared at 8 weeks (nausea, vomiting, fatigue, sore boobs, constantly hard nipples), I was just delighted to see the back of them! I'm 18 weeks now and I had zero signs of pregnancy since then until my bump started popping last week!

purplepoppet92 · 05/05/2021 16:42

Myn did this at 9 weeks and then came back! Please don't worry.
Realistically if something has happened in the few days since the scan your hormones wouldn't have plummeted so quickly as to stop all symptoms just yet anyway! Trust your body and try to enjoy the symptom break as they're likely to be back!!x

I’m 26 weeks and always thought being pregnant must be awful and you must be constantly aware you’re growing a human. I’ve found it to be the complete opposite! Other than being sick a bit around the 9 week mark after that I didn’t have any symptoms at all and I still hardly ever do, only reason I know I’m pregnant is because I can now see a bump and he sometimes kicks!

@SunnySide1992 stats of mc after seeing a heart beat at even 8 weeks is below 2%! So super super unlikely. If you've had no bleeding and no heavy cramping then personally I say be thankful your symptoms are gone! 9 weeks is supposed to be when hormone levels level off too. I'm 8+5 and can't wait for my all day nausea to go!

Hiya, my symptoms disappeared for 2 to 3 days at 8weeks. I'm now 25 weeks pregnant, all good 💜

Symptoms come and go and this is very normal.

I had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks after seeing a heartbeat on a scan two years ago and I didn't lose symptoms at all. When you have a mmc, your body doesn't realise and still produces progesterone.
