Skin care and bags under the eyes

Hi, can anyone share their skin routine please?

Oily skin, constantly having clogged pores, using scrubs daily. I’m 32 but in matter of few months skin got suddenly looking so old, generally looks dirty like I’m not looking after it but scrubs, clay masks, day/night creams that’s correct to the age.

Problem two is bags under my eyes, all those products I buy, ie creams for under eye care, under eyes strips, rolls, even tried slices of cucumber and tea bags. I can mask dark circles but can’t hide puffyness, it’s like 60 year old grandmas eye bags on 32 year old. I would show the pic but can not add it.

Any advice?

You posted in Pregnancy so although you don't say, I assume you're preg! How far along are you? And was your skin like this before preg, or did it just start suddenly at some point during preg?

Generally my skin advice would be to use as little as possible. I've tried loads of stuff in my time, but going cold turkey was the best thing I ever did. I use a light moisturiser after washing my face in the mornings, that's all. I'd like to ditch that too, but I have seb derm so I need it to keep on top of that. Have you tried using nothing except water (for at least a month)?

Also what's your general lifestyle like? Do you lurk inside all the time, or get out and about and do exercise? Is your diet carb-heavy or fresh and balanced with plenty of nutrients? Do you drink/smoke? Plenty of water?

Only few weeks in, but skin quality decreased before that. If I do nothing with my skin, like you said daily wash and moistures, it will be filled in with little tiny white heads that's are quite visible. Generally description as a thin woman, fairly active, will walk to school with the child and pick after work, walking, especially during weekends. No change in sleeping pattern or any other reasons.

Oh no scrubs are so harsh I wouldn't use them. Check if you can use Paula's choice BHA in pregnancy.

Good Cleanser, I use a Balm first then a milk or gel for second cleanse, exfoliate with an acid as above then you might like a serum them moisturise. La Roche posay do some nice light moisturisers. And always Spf in the morning.

@ReadingYourComments ive always suffered with bad skin but since pregnancy it's gotten even worse! And the bags under my eyes are shocking!! I've tried a full new range from tropic, and it's working! I think x

@AnxiousAnnie86 yes!!! During my first pregnancy everything was fine, it's only after giving birth, it's like loose skin and it dropped and never came back to normal. Maybe second pregnancy will fix it :) but thx! I will take a look at that!
