Am I going into premature labour?

I am 27+4 weeks pregnant. 3 nights ago I had extremely sharp shooting pains down below and it felt like my baby had pushed down. I rang triage and they told me to go straight in. They checked baby’s heartbeat which they were happy with and took a urine sample where they found white blood cells indicating I had an infection so they gave me antibiotics and sent me home, they didn’t examine me or do a scan which I thought was strange. Since then I have had an extremely sore back all across the bottom and going up my sides, every so often I’ll get pains down below and it feels like my baby has moved really low near my pubic area. I have had some clear stringy looking discharge in the last 2 days, I’m not sure if these are all symptoms of the infection, can someone please give me some advice on whether I should ring back or wait it out. Has anyone been through anything similar?

Definitely ring your midwife or a doctor. It might be nothing but why take the risk? Urine infections can cause premature labour so I would be super careful. Hope you are ok and you get checked out ASAP and it sorts itself out.

If you're worried call. I always think it's best to weigh up the worst case scenarios, if everything is fine, you've taken up someone's time and you'll feel reassured, if it's not and you don't call you'll hugely regret it.

Normal pregnancy can have all sorts of aches and pains, you may well be absolutely fine, but no one on this board will know, I'd call.

Sounds just like pregnancy to be. Growing a baby is quite painful.
