Is feeling “funny” a sign of labour

I’m 36 weeks with baby #2. Had a planned section with my first so have never experienced labour. The last day or two I’ve been feeling off; nauseous but still hungry, diarrhoea, a bit crampy and just generally feeling funny. I can’t explain it. I mentioned it to a couple of friends and they’ve convinced me it means labour is about to start... is that mad? Has anyone else experienced this? It wouldn’t be a disaster if baby came now but I’d like to keep him cooking a few more weeks if possible.

Yep can be. I'd get my bag packed and let who ever is looking after dc1 know it could be coming.

I have been similar and am also 36 weeks, I have been like this a week now so I don’t know if it’s actually my body getting ready or just the baby taking up so much space that it’s pushing on my bowels or something 😂😂😂 I had to be induced over pre eclampsia with my last baby so I don’t really know what the lead up is like to go naturally myself, but alas I’m def not in Labour yet! Lots of braxton hicks mind you!

I felt like that for about two weeks before I gave birth so close but not imminent time scale, but I would use it as a reason to get my bags packed and tie up any loose ends just in case! Good luck!
