Is this the 3 lines they talk about??

Hi all!

Just that really? We had our 20 week scan and chose not to find out what we’re having, going over our photos and wondering if this is the 3 lines they talk about for a girl?? It is a shot from face on so I know it’s not accurate or possibly even relevant!!

Is this even a potty shot? As in a picture up between the legs?

It doesn't look like the 'burger'. I don't think this is genitals

I think it’s the umbilical cord. They wouldn’t give you a picture of the genitals if you were keeping the sex a surprise.

I had a girl and it didn’t look like that. Was three lines but very thin and bright white lines.

I've no idea what I'm looking at in your photo but it doesn't look like it to me based on the lines they pointed out during my own scan. I've attached mine so you can compare.

Also... if you chose not to find out what you're having at the scan, then why are you here asking for guesses about the sex?

If you'd said you wanted to keep the sex a surprise you wouldn't get a picture showing genitals, it looks more like the umbilical cord (but ultrasounds are difficult to read without training). It's also the wrong angle afaik for the '3 lines'

Doubt it, looks like you are looking at the abdomen rather than genitals in that picture.

If you don't want to know why are you looking anyway....
