19 weeks pregnant stabbing pains in lower left abdomen

I’m 19 weeks today and have been experiencing stabbing pains on my left side. It’s coming and going. I think I’ve had it before and it’s stretching but I’m still nervous. I also haven’t felt much movements yet. I have a scan Wednesday

Is it trapped wind? I'm 19+5 and had stabbing sharp pains in my abdomen last weekend, it was trapped wind. Good luck with your scan x

Go get checked, it’s always worth while getting checked. Most probably it’s nothing....stretching, wind or whatever but you’ll feel better knowing rather than wondering.

@Rosieposy89 it could be I’ve had bad constipation on and off from 8 weeks. Thankyou hoping it’s just something silly like that. This is my second and I’m a lot more nervous and aware this time around as we tried for a long time to fall

@Lillygolightly if it hasn’t stopped by tomorrow or gets worse I’ll definitely ring up my maternity unit. I’ve already been up a few times through this pregnancy and each time been fine so don’t want to keep going up feel paranoid 😬

Round ligament pain. It's horrible but not serious. But alwagst if you're worried then get checked out.

I used to lie on my back with my knees bent and move them side to side to ease it.
