Numbness in hand 8 weeks pregnant

Hi

Iv noticed that when I get up in the night that one hand has pin and needles feeling in one of my hands is this normal for 8 weeks pregnant?

I’m not sure that has anything to do with being pregnant, maybe sleeping position and you notice it because you get up in the night.

Carpal tunnel is common in pregnancy but usually comes on later. It could be that.

Ok thank you i might be on my right side to much I'll try moving more to see if that will change anything.

@AmySH1267 I am now 32 weeks and had this from about 8 weeks. It started at night when laying in bed and typing/scrolling on my mobile. And now I just wake up at night with numb fingers even when I haven't been resting on my arms or hands. Midwife said it sounds like carpal tunnel.

I had to have injections for carpal tunnel after DD, it eased but didn’t go completely. May have to have the op.

Thank you for replying iv haven't noticed it now in a few days It might of been lying on my hand and just noticed it at night when I get up to use the loo
