Can I feel my baby moving?

I am 18+4 weeks with my first baby and I keep feeling light tapping mainly on the left side of my abdomen. After I felt it the first time I convinced myself I was thinking about it too much and it was just my imagination playing tricks on me. Most say it feels like butterfly’s and fluttering but I keep feeling really light taps. Is this my baby moving or just my imagination?

When I felt my first baby move it felt like a tap. I’m now 17+5 with my second and haven’t felt a thing yet!

Mine too felt like little taps and almost like a little nudge! At times it even felt like a very low vibration. And because everyone describes the feeling as butterflies or fluttering, I didn't think it was baby moving. Looking back, I know it was that now

Currently 19+2 with my first and felt flutters from 16 weeks. However, this week I feel it to be like a tapping sensation, only once at a time though.

It definitely could be. I am 16 weeks and have had a couple of very light twitches which I think could be the baby.

Could be. I started feeling like I was being flicked from the inside around 16w. Now it's pretty obvious it's baby and even last night my husband felt a kick when he placed his hand on my stomach! We are 18w4d.
