Loss of symptoms during cold/covid?

Hi,

I’m currently 10wks and worrying because for the last 5 days I’ve been unwell with a cold (although I am waiting for covid test results due to the symptoms being similar and having a fever). Since getting ill my morning sickness, which had been very strong, has completely disappeared and my bump which was also very prominent (2nd pregnancy) has flattened, so much that I can now fit into clothes that haven’t fitted me for weeks.

Has anyone else experienced this? A complete loss of your pregnancy symptoms when unwell?

Thanks Smile

Can't help about loss of symptoms due to illness but just want to say that it's around 10-12 weeks that the placenta takes over and so symptoms can ease off. Your bump may have been part bloat too, which can reduce as you approach the second trimester.
I'd try not to worry for now, hopefully it's all just a coincidence.
