First post here. Grin
Found out I was pregnant two weeks ago after over a year of TTC. It’s the first time we have managed to get pregnant and I’m so excited but I’m also so terrified something is going to go wrong. I have severe endometriosis so higher risk of miscarriage but the MW doesn’t want to see me before 8week mark.

I’ve had no bleeding and the odd niggle of cramp but nothing major. But I’ve also had no symptoms whatsoever apart from a complete change in sleep pattern (but not sure if that’s down to anxiety or hormones)

How did you keep yourself sane in the first weeks? Did you have a successful pregnancy without symptoms in the first weeks?

Hi thanks for your reply,
Feel reassured knowing there is someone else who never experienced any symptoms.

Me and my partner have discussed going for a private scan but wasn’t sure how many weeks was the best time to go. Don’t want to go too early and then want to go again, but don’t want to go too close to 12week scan.

I really need to chill and make up my mind. Grin

Congratulations ☺️ How far along are you now? I had no symptoms but started feeling sick 6 weeks on the dot and had a scan at 8 weeks to break the wait up. Am now 11+2.

Congratulations!

I had no symptoms at all until 16 weeks when j had burning nipples for a couple of days which soon went.

Then I just had heartburn until I gave birth at 38+3!

I’m currently 5+1 (give or take a day or two, I have irregular cycles) I never expected it to happen as DH had sperm analysis this month right around the time of ovulation, so we dtd at the start of my fertile week but that was it.

I can’t wait for his analysis results to come back Grin

I think because we have both wanted this for so long and it took so long we are both anxious of something going wrong.

Congratulations! Sending you lots of good luck for next week! Keep us updated. My boobs aren’t really sore but my nipples feel a bit sore when squeezed but feel like I’m so desperately trying to symptom spot I may be imagining it.

No symptoms for me until week 7!
8 week mark is best for early scans and you will most deffo see a heartbeat then.

I may book in for week 8, feel like I want to see heartbeat just to feel reassured that it isn’t MMC or anything like that.

Congratulations! I didn’t get any symptoms during my two pregnancies until about 6 weeks. There is still time yet! However, you may be one of the lucky ones who doesn’t get many symptoms. Smile

Pompom2367 · 27/04/2021 20:36

Yes thank you I have had cramping so just waiting for the scan for reassurance will keep you updated lol I symptom spot to

Missingthebridegene · 27/04/2021 20:39

I'd recommend an early reassurance scan-you can go from 6 weeks but 7 better. Congrats OP! Try to relax and enjoy ❤️❤️❤️

@Elm98 congratulations on your pregnancy!
Just wanted to say I feel very similar to you. I'm terrified of something going wrong and don't really feel "pregnant " I've had a few symptoms but nothing major. But lots of very strong positive tests. Not saying I want awful nausea but it would give me some reassurance.
This is an IVF pregnancy and we tried naturally for 18 months before.
Luckily we get a 7 week reassurance scan with the clinic. But feels so far away!
I also have an abdo pelvis scan tomorrow as I've suffered with ohss which is where fluid leaks from the ovaries. So not sure if they'll see anything. I'm hoping they see at least a sac. X

Chanel05 · 28/04/2021 12:36

Congratulations! Very early to have symptoms, so don't worry.

Also, in my experience, having symptoms doesn't always mean that all is well, unfortunately.

Congratulations, it’s the weirdest time isn’t it. You feel both excited and anxious. I keep getting lots of strong positive tests too.
I know exactly what you mean about the nausea it just makes it more real.
Keep me updated when you have the scan I’ll be excited to hear what they see. X

Congratulations!!! I'm at thirteen weeks and had no symptoms at all apart from mild cramps around week 4 and feeling a bit more tired than usual. I was a bit worried but the 12-week scan was absolutely fine.

Kona84 · 28/04/2021 20:14

Currently 15weeks and other than sore boobs and tiredness no other symptoms.
The boob soreness actually disappeared in the early weeks but I can’t remember when.
All you can do is take a day at a time.

Elm98 · 04/05/2021 17:48

Thank you for your reassurance ladies.
It’s really nice to hear there is some out there with no symptoms and still having healthy pregnancies so far. I’m going to book in for a private scan at 8 weeks and see how little bean is getting on.

I stupidly got reassurance the other day when I seen I had one last pregnancy test and POAS just thought I’d see how my line had progressed. Well the minute I peed the test line shot up dark before the control line even showed up. At least HSG levels are getting higher.

I’ve also noticed I’m getting a little bloated now after my evening meal and have the itchiest most sensitive nipples; TMI(to the point they woke me in the night and when I managed to get back to sleep I dreamt about them LOL) so hoping that’s a good sign.
