So, I'm 5 weeks today and when I woke this morning my boobs dont seem to feel as sore!

I have had 2 mc's in the last year, both at the 6 week mark and this is what I noticed with both of them, am just scared! I'm 43 and all too aware this is my last shot!

I still have little bouts of nausea and havent had any bleeding or spotting but I am petrified!

Hi @gizmo167 - I sympathise with your post. I lost my symptoms at 6 weeks and after suffering previous miscarriages I was feeling anxious too. Symptoms do come and go, I left it for 2 weeks to see if any symptoms came back and then spoke to my midwife. Luckily they referred me to the EPU and I had a scan last week which showed a little baby growing happily inside. Have you thought about speaking to a midwife to see if they can offer something similar or have a private scan if you can?

Thanks @eromder for the reply.

I have unfortunately found my GP surgery to be completely useless! The Dr I saw after my first mc said I couldnt expect my eggs to stay fresh forever! The next time I got pregnant, in January of this year, I rang the Drs to see if they could do bloods to check all and they wouldnt! I left my booking in paperwork over last week with details of both mc's and have yet to hear anything!

I think I'm very much on my own and just have that sinking feeling today that it wont be good, if I manage no bleeding before end of week I will try ringing to see if anything could be done but seriously doubt they will take me seriously, given my age!

@gizmo167 I am really sorry to hear they have been unsupportive and I have my fingers tightly crossed for you that things are progressing as they should be.

Is there a clinic close by that would do a private scan if you are in the position to organise one?
