I had nothing until I showed at five months. I forgot I was pregnant most of the time

twinkletoedelephant · 26/04/2021 19:18

Be warned first pregnancy I had all the symptoms baby girl alive on time was sick every single day at 11am. second pregnancy, nothing felt amazing had fantastic hair and skin it was twins :)

olderthanyouthink · 26/04/2021 19:22

LOL at twins

Some people get it really bad and some don't know they're pregnant for months and months, it's not one size fits all

zaraa123 · 26/04/2021 19:32

I’m 14+4 weeks and still the only symptoms i’ve had throughout are sore boobs and being more tired than usual! I sometimes feel like I’ve cheated pregnancy but feel lucky but guilty that I’ve had an easy time when others unfortuntely don’t. Congratulations and I’d say enjoy feeling normal while we/you can!Grin

Chocoqueen · 26/04/2021 19:36

I'm 23 weeks and still haven't had many symptoms apart from movement/gentle kicking and weight gain 🤣. Felt a bit nausea but no sickness in the first trimester. In fact I was convinced the test was wrong until my first scan and a baby popped up on the screen!

Anyway, baby is fine so it's not always a bad sign.

Thank you all for your replies x

I had no symptoms, no sickness.. slightly sore boobs for a couple weeks but then absolutely nothing.

TooManyAnimals94 · 26/04/2021 19:39

Don't worry. Still very early days, plenty of time for indigestion, fatigue and mood swings to make an appearance 😁

Ragwort · 26/04/2021 19:41

I didn't have any symptoms, didn't even know I was pregnant until I got a test at 10 weeks, never had regular periods and just assumed it was the start of the menopause as I wasn't actively 'trying' to get pregnant. (Age 42 Grin).

19annie86 · 26/04/2021 19:42

Haha plenty to look forward to Smile

Have any of you had brown spotting at 8 weeks, no pain

OP posts:
TooManyAnimals94 · 26/04/2021 21:26

I had a bit...sometimes after sex. I think it's quite normal. Bright red blood should be checked out but brown spotting is quite common.

BPrecious · 27/04/2021 08:12

I am worried because I have been spotting for a week now with sometimes mild abdominal cramps. I am 7weeks gone. I will be going for early scan in 3days as booked by EPU. Also worried no symptoms except mild sore boots and frequent urination

BPrecious · 27/04/2021 08:13

I mean mild sore boobs

19annie86 · 27/04/2021 08:26

I hope everything goes ok for you

I have no symptoms at all.

OP I had spotting from 5 weeks up until 9 weeks. I saw baby and HB at 9 weeks

DizSquiz · 27/04/2021 08:48

DelurkingAJ · 27/04/2021 08:51

I was 8 weeks out on my dates with DS1 due to spotting/implantation bleeding. No symptoms of any note until I started to show about 22 weeks (well, an unusual craving for banana splits but nothing else). Supremely boring pregnancy all round. Same with DS2 (although I managed to actually have a 12 week scan as I had the same midwife who remembered me going into a 12 week scan and coming out 20 weeks pregnant!).

Hxoxox · 27/04/2021 09:05

I don't have any symptoms either and I should be 6+2 going by lmp and predicted ov. I could be earlier though. I don't feel pregnant at all. I had brown discharge a couple of times when I wiped it comes and goes. I don't have painful cramps but I do get the odd cramp and a stitch feeling. I'm booked in for an early scan on Sunday! Not sure if it's the right idea but it might put my mind at ease slightly if I know.

Have you thought about an early scan? Do you have your date for an NHS scan yet? I've not even had a phone call with the midwife yet that's due next Tuesday.

webuiltthiscityonrockandwheat · 27/04/2021 09:21

I'm about to go down to have my baby and my only symptoms were sciatica and pelvis pain which started around 34 weeks. Everyone is different and nothing is guaranteed

19annie86 · 27/04/2021 10:02

My NHS Scan is 24th May

19annie86 · 27/04/2021 11:22

Rang my DR. They said brown spotting can be common but they are booking me in for an early scan this week

OP posts:
19annie86 · 27/04/2021 12:21

They will only allow me to have a n early scan if I have pain which I dont have

DizSquiz · 27/04/2021 12:57

You can get private ones for about 70 pound. But how far song are you?

DizSquiz · 27/04/2021 12:58

Oh apologies I just saw your 8 weeks

If you want to you can book a private scan to put mine at ease, but yes generally they won't see you NHS unless pain and heavy bleeding red blood
