Induction in first pregnancy - what happened second time round?

I was induced in my first pregnancy at 41+3. DC was not engaged til labour, my cervix was barely soft etc. came eventually but it seemed like a bit of a struggle! I’m now overdue with my 2nd by a few days and just wondering if I’ll need to be induced again, baby’s head is engaged this time at least and I’ve had two failed sweeps. Cervix is soft but not dilated. Any positive stories on people going into labour naturally after an induction first time round? I won’t get induced til 12/13 days over this time they’re saying and waiting that bit longer is a bit scary as I know there are risks to post term births having had a friend go through something pretty horrific as a result.

Induced with dc1 at 42wks and it wasn't great. She never engaged, was back to back which didn't help.

Dc2 was my only spontaneous labour at about 10 days overdue and following multiples sweeps. Far easier birth than DC1.

Dc3 was induced at 42wks and was a 2hr labour and DC4 also induced but at 40wks due to size. Not as easy as DC3 but still easier than DC1

I was induced with both pregnancies.

I was induced with my first at 40+1 due to GD. One pessary in, one baby out about twelve hours later.

My second, I went into labour spontaneously at 39+1. My waters broke at breakfast time, started having contractions half an hour later, baby out 4.5h after kickoff.
