Hi,
So I recently found out that I'm expecting my 3rd child. However my periods were irregular and I had been bleeding twice in a month since January 21. I'm looking big.

Isit normal. Doctors won't scan me till I'm 12 weeks.

Any advice

I heard with your third onwards you tend to show a lot quicker

Yes that is what I was thinking but the one close to me is fully booked for 2weeks.

Just tell the doctor/midwife you are concerned as you don't know your dates? I would imagine they would scan you a bit quicker if you explain.

I have. I also told them I had 2 previous MC but doesn't seem to work

I told my gp and midwife at booking appointment that I wasn’t sure how many weeks I was and she said she would put it down as urgent for a scan... I still waited 4 weeks for my appointment went for my 1st scan on Tuesday and was 17 weeks 6days which was abit if a shock so I’d agree it doesn’t really seem to speed it up if u say u aren’t sure on weeks etc

Aww congratulations hun. Yeah I just feel like whatever I say it won't speed it up.
I will try and find a place to book a private test if I can x

I'm pregnant with my third and my bloating was off the scale. It did go down though. How many weeks do you think you are ?

I'm not sure I could be anywhere between 5 weeks to 16 weeks. Reason being is my periods have been irregular for the past couple months x

That frustrating. I agree to book a private scan when you can.

I just looked at a pic of me at 6 weeks and friends and family would have been able to tell as normally my tummy is so flat.

Would be nice if you were closer to 12w to miss all the first trimester rubbish!

How strong was the line on your first positive test?

I'm pregnant with DC4, I had a massive 'bump' that turned out to be bloat, calmed down a little then baby popped and became proper bump.

Yes I'll have to wait till I get paid now. But I am defo getting one done

I was at the EPU yesterday, and there were two ladies who had come in to be scanned as they didn't know how far gone they were - but the nurse on reception said they won't scan for that reason, and that a midwife would approximate and arrange scans after the booking in appointment.

I think I'd definitely be finding a private scan place; although I'm only 5+4 and the bloating has been insane.

Good thank you. 29 weeks now. Bump growth has slowed down only measuring 27w
