Hi all,
Now that the guidance has changed and pregnant women will be offered the vaccine, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on if you'll decide to take the vaccine while you're pregnant or wait until after, and your reasons for this.

i'd definitely take it as soon as i can! i want to get some antibodies for me and the baby, so that we can relax a little during labour / when seeing family after the baby arrives

Pinkroseuk · 23/04/2021 12:45

No we shall wait till after baby is born. So much is unknown still it's not worth the risk for us after trying for 4 years. Due to my age there may only be 2-3 weeks between when I get offered it and when baby arrives anyway

There was a thread on this the other day and there was mixed responses. I personally wouldn’t x

UnCoffreDor · 23/04/2021 13:16

I wouldn't have it altogether, there's too much uncertainty around it for all age group because it's a new vaccine, trials done are all relatively short atm etc.

@worriesome ah I haven't seen that post and can't seem to find it! Do you mind linking it?
