Loss of symptoms at 8/9 weeks

Hi
This is my first post on here.
I’m 8 weeks pregnant (9 now according to early scan to rule out ectopic) and my nausea (which has been hideous up until now) seems to have gone over the last couple of days. I still feel tired etc.
I had a miscarriage 2 years ago @ 6 weeks, and I’m 40 in a few weeks so I’m getting concerned.
Have any of you ladies come across this? I’ve heard that nausea doesn’t tend to go away til month 3 or 4?
Also, do any of you find that appointments and scans etc are now more patchy due to Covid ? 🙄 I wonder if the NHS are bypassing looking into things they normally would have for women?
Thanks all (please forgive my lack of understanding of abbreviations as I’m new here 😂)

No advice but following as the same thing is happening to me. Constant sickness and nausea for the last 5 weeks and suddenly this morning I feel great so naturally am worried.

You're right about the patchy maternity care at the moment, my booking appointment isn't until the day before my 12 week scan! Think it's a bit crazy that I won't have had any contact at all with a midwife until I'm in the second trimester. I know it's a sign of the times but it doesn't fill me with confidence for the rest of the pregnancy.

Nausea can come and go at any point, and can be on and off. Please try not to panic.

For what it's worth, I had a missed miscarriage two years ago and my symptoms never disappeared at all, including severe nausea.

Hey :) I am 9 weeks now and I woke up last week with no symptoms at all . No sickness / no sore boobs and I don’t feel tired at all . I mentioned it to the midwife this week and she said it was totally normal . I have booked an early scan tomorrow tho just to be sure :D

Smallgriff · 23/04/2021 12:34

My nausea etc. started easing at 9 weeks. All good here, just thanked my lucky stars!

romdowa · 23/04/2021 12:35

Its normal, some people get no symptoms at all. I'm 11 weeks and have felt shocking for weeks. It disappeared for a week and then it came back with a vengeance. So dont worry it could all return yet

notalwaysalondoner · 23/04/2021 12:38

I only had mild nausea but it stopped about week 9/10. It isn't unusual.

Thank you for all your replies so far. I think I’m just overthinking after what happened last time. Hope all goes well for you all 😃

Hi! I’m 9 weeks and all of my symptoms stopped yesterday too and I’ve been feeling great. I’ve had 2 missed miscarriages since last year so of course this is super stressing me. Nothing I can do though except noon a private scan. Sorry it’s happening to you also
