So I'm just over 35 weeks. Had a scan at 33 weeks and was told baby is very low down though they still just managed to measure the head. I had an idea anyway due to where I was feeling movement.
I've been getting lightning crotch pain almost daily and phone hospital last week as when I was on the loo, heard a visible noise of something hitting the water afterwards but couldn't see it. Eventually, they thought it was discharge. Always had a lot but its ramped up recently.

Today I've had to go for a poop (sorry TMI) 7 times and constantly weeing even more than normal! I did have cramping during the night and a bit today along with back pain but, as I've got PGP, was just putting the pain down to this along with the fatigue!

Just wondering if anyone else has had the same? Got the midwife tomorrow so will ask then if they can have a check as well :)

It might just be where your baby is so low it's putting pressure on your bowel making you go more frequently, I think they can stay in that position for weeks though! Your midwife will probably feel for where the head is and how engaged it is, I was 3/5ths from 36 weeks and went until 41.5 and needed a stretch and sweep because even though her head was engaged she was looking up and to the side so wasn't putting all the pressure on the cervix, I never had the urge to poo a lot so hopefully your baby already has their head in the right position and at the right angle, but these last few weeks can be a little uncomfortable I'm afraid! Good luck 😄
