Okay so this is my 4th baby - but I’ve been induced with all so little experience of actually going into labour properly except my waters breaking twice!
I was at my maternity unit 3 times at around 28-30 weeks with suspected preterm labour - I was having contractions and light mucus discharge. They did the Fibronectin test which was negative and cervix closed. So they sent me home and presumed all was okay! This went away for a while and I’m now nearly 34 weeks. The last week or so I’ve had a mix of different symptoms: lower back ache (comes and goes), mild crampy stomach pains (comes and goes), frequent Braxton hicks, breasts leaking, swollen down below, looser stools (not diarrhoea, but much looser and much more regular), and loads of mucusy discharge. I’m also going between being utterly shattered and then wanting to do EVERYTHING. I don’t want to go up if it’s nothing - especially as I’ll be kept there all day and I have 3 other little ones. I’ve not had any show, or anything that makes me urgently want to go up. I just don’t know whether it’s a sign of anything 🤦🏻♀️ thanks lovely ladies!!
