Chances of being pregnant after MAP?

So on Saturday I had a drunken night with an friend without contraception. I got the morning after pill on Monday. However, since then I’ve felt really strange. Ive felt nauseous for the past few days and just wiped out but put that down to the MAP. I’ve also now read that it’s only effective if you’ve not already ovulated so I’m freaking out!

Last period was 30/03, lasted 5 days and my cycle is 28 days. Will I have ovulated?

Has anyone else got pregnant after taking morning after pill?

Hoping I’m just overthinking it.

If the first day of your last period was 30th March and your cycle is 28 days then your expected ovulation is around day 14 (so some time of the week of 12th April.
Yes, the main mechanism of emergency contraception is to prevent ovulation, if it’s already happened then it can’t do this - most of the failures occur when it’s taken after ovulation. Having said that, not every episode of unprotected sex (even around ovulation) will result in pregnancy. I’d also say it’s a bit early to be feeling sick from pregnancy if you had sex less than a week ago.
Try not to panic and wait for your next period, I know easier said than done
