From Breech to Head-Down—Lower Back Pain?

Hi, ladies. Just wondering if anyone has had this experience. During a growth scan at 28 weeks, I learned that my baby was breech. At the 32 week scan he was still breech. I am 33 weeks now, and the other night I went to bed with him transverse (ouch!) and woke up feeling that he finally migrated head-down due to the kicks being in my ribs instead of my cervix and my heartburn lessening. The midwife confirmed today that he is indeed head down now. (Yay!) My only problem is that my lower back is suddenly quite sore when I'm standing and walking, and I don't believe I injured it. Could this be the pressure of the baby's head suddenly in my lower regions, after being breech for so long? Thanks.
