I'm due my first baby in July and I will be going back to work in May next year so I'm wanting to book a trip in for next March for us as a family and i'm looking at city breaks (can only be 3-4 days due to husbands work).

Has anyone taken a 8/9 month old away on a city break / trip and if so where did you go / any advice / recommendations?

Thanks!

Babies travel easily, under 6 months is particularly easy as there's no solid food to deal with. Just think where you want to go - once they are mobile it gets harder, once they can talk and argue back .... another storyGrin

We went on a static caravan holiday to Blackpool when our 3rd was 3mth old.
They had lots of entertainment on site for the older kids, not far to travel to the front and we had a day at the zoo.

We went to Tallinn and it was great. Took our 4 month old, slept the whole flight!

We did Bruges when DD was 5 months old and it was so lovely! Really easy to get on and off the Eurostar with the pushchair, and such a fab, child-friendly place. We had three sunny days of wandering round pretty cobbled streets, eating delicious food (and chocolate!) outside street cafes, and even managed a museum or two. I have such fond memories of it.

My mum & dad took me to Tenerife when I was 9 months...I was an angel apparently.
