Anyone else fed up of hearing comments about how big you are?

Really don’t like people commenting on my bump constantly. It’s fine now and again but just so sick of every room I walk into at work hearing ‘look at that bump!’. Like yes I’m aware I’m pregnant 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 I get that people just can’t think of anything else to say but it’s just so repetitive. No one would ever comment on the size of a woman who wasn’t pregnant. Even from the moment I told people at work (when I had no bump) the comments started and it would annoy me 🙈 Like there is nothing there and yet people are inventing a bump just to be able to point it out. I’m a size 10 and my bump isn’t really that big for almost 6 months. It just seems so weird that people have this right to say whatever they want about your size/shape the second you say you’re pregnant 🤔 I find myself avoiding tight clothes purely because I can’t be bothered with even more comments! Is it just me? 😂 x

I have the opposite problem but can sympathise! Im 6 months and keep being told I’m all bump or the other day my friends said they couldn’t really tell I was pregnant (I had a big floaty dress on) which I think they meant in a nice way but having been for a growth scan that morning it wasn’t what I wanted to hear! (Bump was measuring small but on the scan baby is perfect so it was fine in the end but still made me feel self conscious). Makes me want to go round in skin tight clothes as I’ve been wearing a lot over the last few months so obviously you can’t see a lot! My bump looks and feels huge to me!! You’re right people don’t know what to say and feel like they should say something. I didn’t actually realise this was a thing until I was pregnant and used to always comment on my friend’s bump (which was quite large) last year when she was pregnant thinking it was a nice thing to say! Xx
