Banana and peanut butter sandwiches on really cheap and nasty sliced white bread.

Not pregnant now (or ever again ) but with ds1 I ate jar after jar of gherkins. With ds2 I drank gallons of orange juice and ate lots and lots of cheese (was half expecting to give birth to a little orange mouse).

Also had a penchant for scooping up garlic and herb Philly with smokey bacon wheat crunchies, but I think that was piggery rather than a true craving

ice cubes with my ds, in the middle of winter; just had them in a big glass and crunched away at them!! if we ran out all hell broke loose!!

Indian food and lots of it before the birth of my dd - spicy poppadoms especially - the spicier the curry the better. Don't really enjoy spicy indians now though !!!! blush

Beetroot, beetroot and more beetroot, pickled, or boiled, baby or big! Mmmmmm

merglemergle · 09/11/2004 14:54

marmite, soy sauce, apples and oranges, green salad vegetables.

Feeling pleased with myself there-thats actually quite healthy!

(plus also cheese...pasta...stodge...)

MAJOR craving for wine gums and fruit pastiles now...mmm artifical fruit flavour....

Sweets sweets and more sweets. Chocolate. Fizzy drinks (esp diet coke - am drinking the "no caffeine" sort to keep myself healthy(!)). Salty food - pretzels etc,

Can't face pasta or rice at all, and usually I love them.

How am I supposed to have a healthy baby?

Ate a whole jar one night with cheddar!!

lavender2 · 09/11/2004 21:30

once was near a cafe, actually bought a tin of Heinz vegetable soup, got them to warm it up and they charged about £1.20 for this (nothing else was ggod enough)

Angeliz · 09/11/2004 21:31

i saw a guy eating chips and curry sauce once and went and asked him where he'd got them!

mmmmmmmmmmm, could just eat them now!

charleypops · 09/11/2004 22:38

Angeliz, did your wee go purple? Mine does! But I have been known to eat a bit more than one jar at a time....
