Talk about every stage of pregnancy, from early symptoms to preparing for birth.

Do you think the NHS will scan me or do I need to pay privately?

I am around 7.5 weeks pregnant. I've had a lot of nausea and fatigue up until Sunday night, when I had lower back pain and mild cramps.

It probably sounds silly but today I just feel different. I've had two miscarriages in a row, so this would be my third one, and I'd rather know sooner than later if this pregnancy is not going to work out

Do Early pregnancy units scan for this sort of thing or only if you have had bleeding? I haven't had any bleeding as of yet.

I have spoken to the GP and he wasn't much help sadly. Said that I should relax and not worry about it Hmm although I suppose he was nice about it and did say to phone back if I had any bleeding etc.
I will see if I can book somewhere privately as I do need a GP to refer me to the EPU unfortunately

I had 3 miscarriages and they wouldn’t scan me for this pregnancy as I wasn’t bleeding etc. They finally did scan me at 8 weeks for a reassurance scan to establish viability of the pregnancy due to my previous losses x
