For the past 3 days now I have been experiencing pain very low on my left hand side. Just below my hip and more towards the centre. I have no discomfort whatsoever if I am just sat down or stood still, but as soon as I attempt to lift either of my legs up the pain feels as though something is going to tear (bit hard to explain) I feel as though I need to hold and push into that area as I'm walking or anything that involved lifting my legs especially the left.
Getting dressed is so painful!

I'v been trying to exercise more recently and went on quite a long walk on Friday, the pain started Saturday afternoon so not sure if iv just over done it and maybe pulled something? I expected it to have eased off today if that was the case but it definitely isn't getting any better.

I'm just not sure how long I should wait before talking to someone about it? And if I should tell someone who do I tell?

Is this something that happens sometimes in pregnancy? I have no idea if it's related in the slightest.

Oh and I am 21 weeks btw!

You might just have over done it or it sounds like it might be PGP which is quite common. If you went for a long walk you might have aggravated it. I suggest resting up and see if it goes away. If it persist, mention it to your midwife and found out how to get a physio referral. It's not dangerous for the baby. I had PGP with my first pregnancy and the best thing you can do is rest and take it easy so as not to make it worse! Hope you feel better soon

Have you got much of a bump yet? I got this around 16 weeks with my first when my bump appeared as far as I could tell from online searches it was my uterus removing itself from my pelvis area.

If concerned though, contact your midwife and explain

I do have quite a noticeable bump yea! I don't see my midwife again until 28 weeks, I think il continue to rest for another couple of days and if nothing changes il get in touch with my gp.

I will look up PGP as not sure what that is thank you. I wasn't sure whether I should be doing light stretches/exercise or resting and want to avoid googling too much as it can just cause you worry!
