Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone has any info on this / experience? I know it may be hard to come by anybody that has conceived following their covid jab as it's all so recent still.. but fingers crossed!

I had my AZ jab around 1.5 months ago, we have been TTC for almost a year now and really don't know what to do.

We are still DTD unprotected just in case, but I wondered is anybody else still TTC following the jab? There's mixed messages online and some people I know have unfortunately miscarried after the jab, but it could be coincidental or it could be due to the jab itself. It is hard to know because tests weren't carried out to determine the cause.

Anybody in the same predicament?

Are you worried about impact on fertility or getting the second jab whilst pregnant?

I don't think there's any concern about the jab's impact on fertility or your chances getting pregnant after the jab.

There isn't any research yet on whether the jab is safe for pregnant woman and some are being advised to postpone the jab until after pregnancy or it is proven safe. Some still seem to be offered it if they are considered to be at high risk. I think if you do get pregnant and then are offered the second jab it would be best to discuss your options with your midwife.
