Feeling rubbish but not particularly nauseous 6 weeks pregnant

Hi there,

I am 6 + 5 weeks pregnant after a miscarriage last year. Currently I am exhausted but not feeling particularly nauseous, however my stomach just feels rubbish in general. Did anyone else have this?

I am driving myself crazy hoping for a bit nausea as a good sign.

Thanks!

Yes! I had this my whole first trimester, I wasn't nauseous at all like people describe but I just felt really really unwell. I haven't seen anyone else say they had it this way, I was never sick or ever felt like I was going to be, it was just a general feeling of crappiness that was utterly DEBILITATING. Sad

Yup, my experience also. Some nausea in the morning and stomach very sensitive all day, but otherwise I just feel generally and totally crap and exhausted and like PP said, it's just debilitating

Thanks both for your replies! This has made me feel so much better. I’ve scrolled these forums so much and never found anyone describe it like this. I certainly know I don’t feel ‘normal’ but it’s nice to know other pregnant women have felt this way!

It was annoying as I couldn't find any advice online to help ease it, all the advice was geared towards reducing nausea specifically but that wasn't the problem.
I did find making sure I never had an empty stomach was good, although my appetite disappeared, any feeling of hunger was like an awful stabbing pain in my stomach so eating little and often was helpful. Stay hydrated and rest is all I can suggest, hope it eases for you soon, mine went just after 12 weeks Smile

Hi I’m also 6+5 today and feeling aweful.
I do have morning sickness and feeling nauseous but I have that exhaustion too and also a rubbish feeling in my stomach.
Hope we go through the next coming weeks fast and quickly x

Hi Esther1211,

Time really does feel slow doesn’t it when you are waiting for 12 weeks! Fingers crossed the next few go a bit faster x

Yes fingers crossed.
Good to have someone exact same date and kind of feeling the same Wink
Feel well xx

I've experienced 3 pregnancies - two if which went to full term very healthily, and although I went off a few things completely and had nausea in the early stages, was never sick.
Try not to worry x
