So I’m currently 19 weeks pregnant and when I was 4 weeks pregnant, exactly when I was due on my period, I bled for a week. It was just like a period, a few days of heavy/medium bleeding and then it tailed off.
At first I thought it was my period, then around day 4, I just had a weird feeling about it (the cramping wasn’t what I’d usually have) so took a pregnancy test which came back positive. I then just assumed I was miscarrying and took a test two weeks later to check if all hcg had gone and it came back 3+ weeks pregnant. A scan confirmed I was still pregnant and here I am at 19 weeks with a healthy baby growing inside me going by all the tests so far (except for low Papp-a)
No-one has really been able to give me any definitive answers, the consultant said it was probably just heavy implantation bleeding.
I just wondered if anyone on here has experienced anything similar and went on to have a healthy pregnancy/baby as it’s just something that is playing on my mind a lot and for the first time, google hasn’t come up with anything!
