Hello, this is a long explanation so bear with me. My last period was 2nd February and went for an early reassurance scan at private clinic at what I thought was 7+2 they scanned me and told me I'm too early but I had a gestational sac and yolk sac so told me to come back 2 weeks later. I was measuring 16mm sac at that point. Last week (so week after the scan) I started to bleed was sticky bleeding not to much but enough to worry me. And had brown discharge for last 2 weeks. My scan came yesterday and they said they can see improvement from last time. That there is 2 yolk sacs. But only 1 embryo they can see. Measuring 6.02mm and gestational sac measuring 25mm. But they could not find a heartbeat. The private clinic people started whispering amongst themselves and then told me to go to hospital. So I rang my midwife and as I couldn't get through rang 111 who told me to go to a and e. This was all happening very fast so I did and I was in a bit of a state. When I got to hospital they said they don't accept private scans but they couldn't book me in for one of there own. But managed to book me in for Monday. They took my blood my hcg levels are 43000. I'm just really confused about all this. How can in 2 weeks I can only go up by 4 days. And why is there 2 yolk sacs. Did I have twins but one failed and is coming out in the blood and brown discharge?. I'll include my scan pictures in hope someone here might be able to shine a light on this. Thankyou.
